Truist Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for assisting in the completion and documentation of risk based internal audit assurance activities that may include complex assignments. The Truist Senior Internal Auditor will interpret the results of audit work performed, determine internal control weaknesses, and make value-added recommendations. As appropriate, the Truist Senior Internal Auditor may lead segments or primary elements of smaller audits or special reviews. Candidates must work in one of the following Truist office locations in a hybrid capacity: Atlanta, GA - 303 Peachtree Street (Preferred), Charlotte, NC - 214 North Tryon Street (Preferred), Raleigh, NC - 3201 Beechleaf Court, Winston-Salem, NC - 101 North Cherry Street, Richmond, VA - 1001 Semmes Ave. No Full Remote/Telecommute. No Relocation Assistance. Essential duties include preparing and leading client interviews, analyzing process documentation, designing and executing testing strategies using data analytics, identifying internal control weaknesses and risks, guiding junior team members, communicating audit issues to management, developing audit and risk assessment skills, deepening knowledge of Truist operations and policies, creating work papers, working independently, and applying feedback. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field, 4-6 years of relevant experience, developing knowledge in technology and cybersecurity principles, IT controls, and frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX, PCI DSS. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or related field, relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, CEH), proficiency with cybersecurity tools and audit software, and knowledge of Truist Audit Services software.
