About Us:
Fortech Solutions Inc. is an established audio-visual company specializing in residential, private commercial, and public projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to help manage our financial records and support our growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Balance financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting
• Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly
• Prepare and generate financial reports as needed
• Maintain organized financial records for audits and tax purposes
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
• Ability to generate and analyze financial reports
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with small businesses in the AV, construction, or service industries
• Familiarity with public project billing and change orders is a plus

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time (Flexible hours, 16 to 20 hors per week)
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• Potential for growth into a larger role
