He or she provides superior customer service by understanding and demonstrating the characteristics, capabilities, and features of various vehicles and by developing and qualifying a customer base that will lead to the sale and delivery of vehicles.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service. Sales or Finance Management experience is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, a proven leader and goal orientated.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outbound sales, particularly within the automotive industry, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage the sales pipeline effectively while fostering relationships with clients and enhancing the dealership's market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Sales team management: Training, and overseeing a sales team, and coaching them on best practices
  • Sales goals: Setting and tracking sales goals, and leading the team to achieve them
  • Sales forecasting: Developing estimates for future vehicle sales
  • Customer satisfaction: Maintaining a high level of CSI and online reputation scores
  • Appraising: Accurately and effectively appraises used vehicle trade ins
  • Desking: Must be comfortable and proficient and desking in a transparent manner
  • Marketing: Actively plan, create, and execute a marketing plan.
  • CRM: Developing and managing a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales
  • Analysis: Ability to identify areas of opportunity and development an action plan to improve

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and negotiate deals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions.
