About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President or Director for Private Equity Banking and Fund Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the existing portfolio of private equity and private debt firm clients in Texas. This involves leveraging existing contacts and generating new leads to meet loan, deposit, and fee income goals. The role also includes partnering with the Managing Director for the Western U.S. to structure innovative debt solutions that can attract new clients, as well as collaborating with the team to complete the underwriting, due diligence, and documentation process for loans. The candidate will be expected to work with product specialists to enhance client relationships by offering a full suite of banking solutions and to mentor other team members. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of banking experience, with at least 2 years' in direct client relationship management, preferably with private equity firms. The role requires a deep understanding of private investment firm structures, including various types of debt and equity financing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in dealing with a wide array of corporate clients and credit structures, and be adept at structuring and delivering financial solutions. The position also involves travel within Texas for business development, client visits, and industry events.
