Job Description

SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR:
Coordinate activities of staff to plan, organize, and administer the company's special events. Coordinate services and related aspects for the events, including location, catering, safety/security, etc. Direct administrative details, such as events' budgeting, financial, inventorying, procurement and logistics operations. Maintain records of event aspects, including financial details. Hire, train, and supervise support staff required for events using working knowledge of the following trade tools: high-end silver service, meal/menu planning, selection of boutique and artisan wine, bartender practices, STCW standards, first aid, food safety, and hygiene standards. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise. Will require travel for events to be held worldwide. REQS: Must have two years of experience in the job duties or in supervisory positions dealing with planning, budgeting, financial, inventorying, procurement and logistics operations for events and the listed trade tools.
