SAP Ariba Functional Consultant for Indirect Procurement

Location: Rochester NY (On-site at least 50%)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Ariba process solutions, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of the Procure to Pay process.
• Assist in process design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Ariba modules, including Ariba Buying, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, Contract Invoicing and Spend Analytics.
• Identify process gaps and suggest improvements, leveraging SAP Ariba capabilities and/or integrations while staying within industry best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for end-users, addressing any issues related to the SAP Ariba platform.
• Provide insight into effective change management for Ariba implementation with internal and external organizations
• Participate in implementation planning and execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery and maximizing the value of the Ariba products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements. drive project milestones and deliverables.
• Create and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
• Function as a liaison between the business and technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with a strong work ethic.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAP Ariba modules, preferably on behalf of a retail corporation.
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, particularly in Indirect Procurement.
• Proficiency in SAP Ariba solutions, including Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Contract Compliance, Supplier Performance and Spend Analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical resources.
• Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and promote the adoption of change in process.
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• SAP Ariba certification(s) is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and OpenText VIM systems is beneficial.
