Safety Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Safety Specialist. As a Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall safety of our clients operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective safety programs, policies, and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and health hazards. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a culture of safety consciousness throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on safety-related matters and promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and provide detailed reports with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive measures.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant safety regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Participate in safety audits and assist in obtaining necessary certifications or accreditations.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for reporting and analysis purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• experience as a Safety Specialist or similar role.
• Solid understanding of relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
• Must be bilingual
