Looking to get started in digital marketing but unsure where to begin? This entry-level remote opportunity is focused on the technical side of marketing—setting up automation tools, organizing lead journeys, and supporting backend systems that businesses rely on every day. No phone work, no cold outreach, and no experience necessary.
You’ll be guided through a 5-day hands-on training to build your first live marketing automation system using beginner-friendly tools.
As a Marketing Automation Support Assistant, you’ll be responsible for setting up logic-based systems that help online businesses automate repetitive tasks. You’ll work behind the scenes, connecting forms, scheduling tools, and messaging platforms that turn one-time clicks into fully booked calendars and follow-up flows.
This is not a creative marketing role—you won’t be writing ads or filming videos. Instead, you’ll be operating the backend machinery that keeps lead flow and customer communications moving automatically. The onboarding includes a structured 5-day challenge that walks you through your first live build.
Connect contact forms to email and SMS messaging tools
Set up calendar integrations to auto-confirm appointments
Build triggers that send specific follow-up actions based on what a lead does or doesn’t do
Use tagging logic to organize leads into behavior-based segments
Assign different workflows depending on where the user is in the sales process
Automate pipeline movement from new contact to booked call to follow-up
Run simulated user flows to verify that each automation step fires correctly
Review system behavior to ensure timing, logic, and tagging work as intended
Fix issues such as duplicate entries, broken delays, or skipped messages
Begin by reviewing your module inside the 5-Day Automation Challenge
Set up an opt-in form and connect it to a scheduling page
Add an automated follow-up sequence that reminds the user to confirm their appointment
Tag users based on their actions (e.g., opened but didn’t book, booked but didn’t attend)
Run a full test and record performance in your dashboard
Formal education isn’t required. You’ll be trained using a clear, structured system.
Not necessary. The onboarding challenge assumes zero prior knowledge and walks you through everything.
Organized and task-focused
Interested in tech systems and marketing tools
Prefer building quiet, structured systems over talking to customers

Fully online role with no set hours
Work independently and progress through onboarding at your own pace
Ideal for freelancers, stay-at-home professionals, and those entering remote work for the first time
5-Day Marketing Automation Challenge with daily lessons and action steps
Templates and prebuilt logic flows to help you launch your first working system
Access to a private support group for troubleshooting and collaboration
Do I need to be good with tech?
Not at all. You’ll use beginner-friendly drag-and-drop tools with full walkthroughs provided.
Will I be writing marketing content?
No. Templates are provided. You’ll focus on structure and automation, not copywriting or design.
Can I turn this into a freelance service?
Yes. Many people who complete the training go on to offer automation builds as a paid service.
Is this role flexible?
Yes. There are no scheduled hours. You can learn and build at your own pace from anywhere.
