LINE COOK / PREP COOK

Pelican Pete's Restaurant is looking for line cook / prep cooks to join our team. Our ideal candidate is kind, positive, and works well with others. He or she also believes in quality, consistency, and working in a clean and organized environment.

Essential Functions:

· Ensures that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner in cooperation with the kitchen team

· Sets up kitchen and stocks prep stations prior to service

· Restocks ingredients at work stations to ensure smooth operations

· Labels, stocks, and organizes inventory

· Works efficiently with kitchen team members and complies with company procedures and food safety standards

- Range $15.00 to $18.00 based on experience

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends

Requirements:

Job Requirements

· Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, quick to learn and able to multi-task

· No experience necessary

· Full and part time positions available – we offer flexible scheduling

· Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays

· Overtime offered based on staffing needs

· Minimum age is 16

· Must have reliable transportation, be responsible, and above all dependable

· Be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs.

· Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.

· Willing to learn safe food handling practices and workplace safety procedures
