Requirements Robert Wood Johnson- Community Medical Center needs possibly a few locums for coverage. * Only candidates with a current active NJ license will be considered. ** 1 week blocks: M-F 8a-4pm and on call every night. 24 Hour weekend call on Saturdays and Sundays, to end the following Monday morning at 7:00am. This is for inpatient. We are looking for someone to take all inpatient consults and follow up for 7 days at a time. 8 hours M-F during the day in house,Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes: Perform investigative endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, duodenoscopes, gastroscopies, and barium swallows.ERCPDescription of Work Assignment ? Board certified/eligible gastroenterologist? Currently active or able to obtain NJ Medical License? Effectively communicates with patients, family members, office staff, and other health care team members. Diagnose and treat GI disorders, including Crohn?s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and other digestive issues. Provide advice and support on diet and nutrition changes to patients and refer them to relevant dietitians as required. Perform investigative endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, duodenoscopes, gastroscopies, and barium swallows. Consult with and assist members of the medical staff and nursing staff when such consultation is required and requested by an attending physician. Treat patients consistent with any rules and regulations required by the Employer dealing with the general treatment of patients. Provide Gastroenterology On-Call coverage for Emergency Department according to an on- call schedule established in accordance with Community Medical Center?s policy and procedures including the Medical Staff Departmental Policies and Procedures. Participate in coverage that is scheduled in 24 hour blocks of time (to include approximately 2 hours of onsite rounding; remaining 22 hours are unrestricted call). Provide on-call coverage that meets the requirements of the Emergency Department policies and procedures including response time.Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: 7 days a weekSchedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: 8am-4pmOn call?
