Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Fabricator/Welder to join their team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fabricator/Welder

Location: Imperial, PA

Pay Range: $22/hr

What's the Job?

• Weld steel subassemblies to AWS B2.1/B2.1M standards.
• Create, prove out, and document the dock leveler manufacturing process with an emphasis on welding.
• Act as an active member of the launch team implementing welding, painting, and assembly processes.
• Check measurements and dimensions of each piece being worked on using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before and during the fabrication process to ensure accurate completion.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to comprehend blueprints, schematics, and work specifications.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds or more.
• AWS B2.1/B2.1M Qualified welder.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S methodologies.
