Electronic Assembler

Job title: Electronic Assembler 
Location: West Tucson 
Terms: Temp to hire-90 days
Salary/rate: $15.00 an hour
Requirements: Familiar with small hand tools

Description:
Assemble electronic equipment by installing and electronic components, circuits, and electronic devices.

Duties:

1. Prepare wires for assembly. Cutting wire to length, stripping insulation, and tinning the ends.
2. Cutting shrink wrap tubing to length.
3. Soldering wires and assemblies.
4. Performing post assembly electrical test.
5. Mixing epoxy and gluing covers to assembled product.
6. Organizes work by receiving work requests.
7. Repairing and replacing components, circuits, and electronic devices.
8. Testing components, circuits, and electronic devices.
9. Documents actions by completing logs and records.
10. Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes.
11. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock.
12. Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
13. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
