Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time.
• Track project finances, including labor, materials, change orders, and billing.
• Forecast materials and labor needs to ensure project efficiency.
• Oversee materials purchasing and delivery coordination.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers.
• Manage large accounts and ensure consistent, high-quality service.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities annually.
• Perform material take-offs and review project scopes.
• Finalize bid summaries and ensure accuracy before submission.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress and address challenges.
• Lead job meetings, build trust with field staff, and collaborate with site superintendents.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project goals.
• Mentor junior Project Managers to support their professional growth.
• Set clear expectations for office personnel contributing to project success.
• Take responsibility for overall project financial performance and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in field electrical construction is acceptable.

Experience:

• 3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar field.
• At least 2 years managing large, complex electrical construction projects exceeding $5 million (healthcare construction preferred).
• Experience with construction estimating and forecasting/projecting materials and labor.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed construction project KPIs.
