Responsibilities

• Looking to hire an estimator to do takeoff and calculate job costs and work on submittals and shop drawings
• Takeoffs, measure drywall and framing
• Labor, calculate cost of labor for a projects
• Material, research and obtain quote for material and good pricing
• Submittals, submit submittal packages to developers and GC's as needed
• Shop drawings, obtain and revise shop drawing for any given project requiring it

Requirements

• Construction experience, preferably with dry wall or interior experience
• Local-NY or NJ and able to commute to NYC daily
• BS degree in civil engineering or construction management or related field ideally
• Have desire to grow in the estimating department
• Knowledge of creating schedules in P6 and Microsoft Project
• Able to work remotely in a very effective way when needed
• Possess a strong work ethic; good people/ soft skills; demonstrate good organization, verbal, and written communication skills; excellent leadership skills
• Strong time management skills and able to thrive under pressure
