International Justice Mission (IJM) is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern for the Fall 2025 Internship class. The intern will support various initiatives executed by the Cybersecurity team responsible for design, implementation, and operation of technical controls across IJM’s systems, applications, and platforms. Responsibilities include daily support in global security operations, conducting security reviews of new technology projects, learning and operating various security solutions, and participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support. The position can be fully in-person or hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Global Director, Cybersecurity and requires 30-40 hours per week. The internship program dates are Sept. 15 – Dec. 12, 2025. Qualifications include being a bachelor’s degree student with at least two years of undergraduate study completed, experience in information technology and information security, experience in cloud computing, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must have a mature orthodox Christian faith and demonstrate qualities such as humility, resilience, cultural awareness, strong service ethic, innovation, trust-building, courage, tenacity, and professionalism.
