Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/related.
• CPA = a plus.
• 8+ years' strong general ledger and reporting experience.
• Able to operate independently and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in an owner-led or entrepreneurial business.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and mentoring junior staff.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full accounting cycle including month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Serve as a key advisor to ownership and senior leadership.
• Lead and support a small team, including AR and administrative staff.
• Help drive system upgrades and process improvements (new accounting software in pipeline).
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Work closely with operations to support data-driven decisions.
