Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring an Condition Monitoring Analyst. The Condition Monitoring Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting aggregated condition monitoring machine data to facilitate early and accurate detection of changes in equipment health, performance, operation, and application. The individual in this position also provides cost savings to the customer by making repair and operational recommendations to improve machine availability and productivity. Seeking candidates with parts and heavy equipment technical service knowledge. College degree, a plus. Requirements for the Condition Monitoring Analyst position include: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Strong mechanical aptitude. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Physical requirements must be met for the Condition Monitoring Analyst job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 20 pounds in weight. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
