Job Description
Responsibilities:
As our Print Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by accurately assessing project specifications and providing competitive and profitable estimates for our diverse range of printing services.
You will collaborate closely with our sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Analyze project specifications, layouts, and artwork to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
Calculate accurate and competitive cost estimates for various printing methods (e.g., offset and digital).
Prepare detailed and professional proposals for clients.
Maintain and update pricing databases and vendor information.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and provide timely estimates.
Work closely with the production team to ensure estimates align with production capabilities and timelines.
Assist in the development of efficient estimating processes.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Print Estimator in a commercial printing environment.
Understanding of various printing processes, materials, and equipment.
Mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
