About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Technology Officer to oversee the administration of its computer systems and networks, both for instructional and management purposes. Essential job functions include the design, installation, and support of data, phone, and video networks, as well as the maintenance of personal computer and network hardware and software. The role also involves training personnel, managing helpdesk operations, and leading the IT management team in the planning and implementation of departmental goals and strategies. Applicants for the Chief Information Technology Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, with a preference for a degree in a related field. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification is required, along with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Microsoft networks and hardware/software installation, repair, and support. The role demands proven interpersonal skills for effective supervision and participation with staff and the public. The Chief Information Technology Officer will also be involved in the management of various technology assets, including school iPads, firewalls, content filters, and the Mitel phone system. The position may require after-hours and weekend work and involves travel to different sites as needed.
