Our client is a well- known accessories brand Overview: The Associate Designer plays a crucial role in supporting the founder and the design team throughout the creation and production process. Associate Designer Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on current trends, colors, materials and styles
• Creating and organizing mood boards that visually convey the inspiration and direction for a collection.
• Assisting in the creation of jewelry sketches (both by hand and digitally) to illustrate design concepts.
• Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications that are used to guide the production of pieces.
• Researching and sourcing platings, metals, stones, and other materials
• Organizing and maintaining a library of materials for easy reference.
• Work closely with sample makers and sample machinists to ensure that designs are accurately translated into physical pieces.
• Taking notes on necessary adjustments and ensuring that samples meet design specifications.
• Managing and organizing founder's design space, including preparation of conference room(s), organizing of founder's sketches, labeling and organizing trays in office, inspiration images, boards, and more.
• Keeping track of the development process regarding design, ensuring deadlines are met, and communicating updates to the team.
• Work closely with the design team, merchandisers, and production teams
• Help prepare for photoshoots and presentations
• Providing on-site assistance during shoots or presentations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Monitoring and analyzing competitor products to identify gaps or opportunities in the market.
• Understanding consumer preferences and helping to incorporate these insights into design decisions.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years' jewelry design and development experience.
• Creative and innovative design and conceptualization ability.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and with vendors.
• Capacity to anticipate change based on events and adapt quickly. 24 Seven Talent
